Why I love my Delta family

Delta’s people are the foundation of our success – a philosophy that spans our nearly 100 year history. That’s why we’re proud to have been consistently named a Great Place to Work by Fortune and Glassdoor.com. True to that philosophy, our people share in our success: Over the last five years, we’ve shared more than $5.5 billion in profits with our employees and have raised pay by 25% since 2015. Here’s what a few of them have to say:

“What I enjoy most about my job are the people I work with – we come from all over the world and everyone is different in their own way. I’ve learned so much from them. They’ve become my family.” — Lisa W., Ramp Agent in Airport Customer Service

“As a Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant, I am proud to represent Delta’s strong family culture and how it drives us to be “different” than our competition to win in the workplace. Our leaders are approachable, value employee feedback and empower us to be the best at what we do. Teamwork fuels our passion to succeed, innovate and Keep Climbing!” — Nathan L., Flight Attendant

“It may sound cliché, but every day is a good day for me at Delta. Being an engineer in the aviation industry is pretty cool – to work on projects that help keep planes in the air is amazing. I wouldn’t want to do anything else.” — Jen-Lee L., Engineering Project Specialist in TechOps

“Delta’s culture drives us to conduct our operations in an environmentally sustainable manner. We want to use our resources in the best way because they’re limited, whether fuel or water. It makes good business sense to look at innovated initiatives that both reduce our footprint globally – our goal is 50 percent by 2050 – and reduce costs.” – Stephanie Z., Climate Change Strategy Manager

“The culture here is remarkably supportive and I feel myself growing every day as an engineer and leader. Anything is possible when you are given the chance to own your career and have the tools and coaching that you need to succeed.” — Jasmine J. Devops Center of Excellence Manager
